Best practical course

On today's semester colloquium celebrations, the practical course "Performance von Anwendungen auf Cloud-Großrechner IBM z10" was recognized as "Best Practical Course of the Summer Term 2011". The award is based on student votes evaluating a variety of aspects, e.g. practical relevance, relation to current research activities, and course organization. The newly introduced practical course of the IIC combines up-to-date research topics, like performance management and cloud computing, with state-of-the-art technology.
