The applicant must represent the field of Applied IT Security in research and teaching. Existing knowledge of German language is not required for applying for this position. Outstanding achievements in research and teaching are expected in at least one, preferably several, of the following areas:
- Development of secure software systems and security management
- Data security and privacy-compliant software systems
- Security analysis, verification, and evaluation of security solutions in terms of their reliability, performance, and energy efficiency
- Security in networked, mobile, and distributed systems
- Privacy-preserving methods for cloud computing and data science
- Secure use and training of AI models
- Forensic computing
- System security
