QoSA 2011

20.06.2011

7th International Conference Series on the Quality of Software Architectures (QoSA), June 20-24, 2011, Boulder, Colorado, USA

The goal of QoSA is to address aspects of software architecture focusing
broadly on quality characteristics and how these relate to the design of
software architectures. Specific issues of interest are defining quality
measures, evaluating and managing architecture quality, linking
architecture to requirements and implementation, and preserving
architecture quality throughout the lifetime of the system.

Past themes for QoSA include:

2009: Architectures for Adaptive Software Systems
2008: Models and Architecture
2007: Software Architecture, Components, and Applications

To foster exchange and collaboration with the Component-Based Software
Engineering community, QoSA is (as in past years) co-located with the
International Symposium on Component-Based Software Engineering (CBSE) as
part of the federated CompArch 2010 event. The joint event will take
place June 23-25, 2010 in Prague in the Czech Republic. A new symposium
will also join CompArch: The First International Symposium on
Architecting Critical Systems (ISARCS 2010), a symposium dedicated to
dependability, safety, security and testing/analysis for architecting
systems.

The QoSA Conference Series has a track record of bringing together
researchers and practitioners from a variety of disciplines to promote a
better understanding of Software Architecture from a diversity of
perspectives, and to engage in active discussion and debate.  QoSA 2010
is open to all participants interested in Software Architecture and
related areas. The symposium addresses participants from both
universities and industry.
