Marwin Züfle completed his PhD. Congratulations!

Dr. Aleksandar Milenkoski, a Senior Threat and Malware Analyst at Cybereason, and Vlad Ogranovich, Senior Director of the Cybereason global SOC, held a lecture on operating system security.

Our member Simon Eismann has received a SPECtacular Award 2022 from the Standard Performance Evaluation Coorporation (SPEC) for outstanding research.

Our member Vanessa Borst has been awarded the prize for the best master thesis in the field of AI and Data Science by the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in cooperation with the Vogel Foundation.

The paper "Sizeless: Predicting the optimal size of serverless functions" by S. Eismann, L. Bui, J. Grohmann, C. L. Abad, N. Herbst, and S. Kounev has received the Best Student Paper Award at MIDDLEWARE 2021.

The winners of this year's Würzburg Software Engineering Awards recognizing the best Bachelor and Master theses at the Chair of Software Engineering in 2021 were recognized at this year's SE WinterDay event.
