The 10th Symposium on Software Performance 2019 (SSP2019) will take place on 4.-6. November, 2019 in Würzburg, Germany and is organized by the Chair of Software Engineering (Informatik II) with Nikolas Herbst serving as program committee chair.

Jóakim von Kistowski, Tobias Wahl (Student), and Samuel Kounev from the Chair of Computer Science II win the Best Industry Paper Award at the 10th ACM/SPEC International Conference on Performance Engineering (ICPE) 2019 in Mumbai, India.

The Bachelor Thesis students of 2018 at the Chair of Computer Science II (Software Engeering) have been honored with the Würzburg Software Engeering Awards sponsored by Bosch Rexroth and Infosim.

Im Rahmen der Akademischen Feier 2018 der Fakultät für Mathematik und Informatik wurden drei unserer Mitarbeiter für ihren hervoragenden Abschluss im Studienfach Master Informatik ausgezeichnet.

Aleksandar Milenkoski from the Chair of Software Engineering is this year's winner of the SPEC Kaivalya Dixit Distinguished Dissertation Award presented at the ACM/SPEC ICPE 2018 Conference in Berlin. Nikolas Herbst received a SPECtacular Award from SPEC for technical leadership.

Auf der GI/ITG Konferenz Measurement, Modelling and Evaluation of Computing Systems (MMB) 2018 wurde Stefan Herrnleben für seine Masterarbeit ausgezeichnet.

Lukas Iffländer, Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Informatik II, wurde mit dem Promotionsstipendium der Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft ausgezeichnet.

Prof. Dr. Samuel Kounev und sein Doktorand Marwin Züfle wurden mit dem diesjährigen Universitätsförderpreis der Mainfränkischen Wirtschaft ausgezeichnet.

Am Lehrstuhl für Software-Engineering des Instituts für Informatik der Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg sind zum nächstmöglichen Termin zwei Stellen im Bereich Software-Engineering für IoT und Industrie 4.0 zu besetzen.
